I' m hunting for a decent left-wing blog. Ideally I'd like to find one or two based in the UK/Europe and one or two in the USA. Intelligent right-wing sites abound (as well as plenty of non-intelligent ones) but my efforts so far to find a decent left-wing one have failed: they tend to be pretty puerile and/or ranting (except for the few I've listed on the side!!). If you know some good ones, please suggest.
For those interested, I did find this political blog guide on a Keele Uni site but they haven't categorised it. I have looked at quite a lot of the suggestions but many aren't updated regularly and don't look much cop if they are.
Help me!

Dare I suggest my own blog?
Yes, I think so. I don't blog about politics primarily, but connexions is definitely written from a left-of-centre perspective and I like to think it is moderately intelligent and only occasionally given to ranting and the puerile.
You might also look at the list of the UnRight Christians aggregator, which I list on my blog. There ought to be something there for you.

Try Slacktivist: http://slacktivist.typepad.com. It deals with American issues almost exclusively but the treatment of the Left Behind books is brutal and entirely deserved.

Surely the ultimate left-wing blog?
Anyway Doherty, I thought the left-wing/right-wing method of ascribing political preference is so last season? Neo-con/neo-lib I say.
